Kaolin Clay Bath Bomb Recipe
Ingredients:
- ½ cup baking soda
- ¼ cup citric acid
- ¼ cup Epsom salts
- 3 tablespoons kaolin clay
- 1 tablespoon sweet almond oil
- ½ tablespoon water
- Essential oils (optional, for fragrance)
- Bath bomb molds
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salts, and kaolin clay. Stir well with a whisk until all the dry ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
- In a small jar, mix the sweet almond oil and water. If you’re using essential oils, add a few drops to this mixture.
- Slowly add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients, whisking continuously. Add the liquid drop by drop to avoid activating the fizzing reaction.
- Once the mixture holds together when squeezed, pack it tightly into the bath bomb molds. Overfill each half of the mold slightly, then press the halves together firmly.
- Let the bath bombs set in the molds for about an hour. After that, carefully remove them from the molds and let them dry overnight to harden completely.
Using Your Bath Bomb: Fill your bathtub with warm water, drop in a bath bomb, and enjoy the fizzing and soothing effects of the kaolin clay. It will leave your skin feeling soft and nourished.
Enjoy your relaxing bath! 🛁✨
