Kaolin clay

Australian Pure and Natural Kaolin Clay

What is Kaolin Clay?

Kaolin clay, recognisable by its grey appearance, forms a lush, smooth and fluffy paste when mixed with liquid.

Although sometimes referred to as “China Clay,” it is mined globally, not just in China.

Kaolin is a common ingredient in commercial masks, cleansers, and cosmetics. Additionally, it serves various industrial purposes, such as paper coating.

Unlike highly absorptive clays like bentonite, Kaolin clay is gentle and suitable for all skin types, making it an exception for those with dry or sensitive skin.

Kaolin clay has several uses but is extremely beneficial when exfoliating and deep cleansing your pores, soothing your irritated skin and removing excess oils, and even to brighten your skin tone.
Kaolin clay has several uses including:

Skin Care: It’s a mild cleanser, gentle exfoliator, and natural acne blemish treatment. It’s less drying than many other clays and suitable for most skin types.

Teeth Whitening: Kaolin clay can be used to whiten teeth.

Gut Health: It’s taken to treat gastrointestinal problems.

Industrial Applications: Kaolin is used in pottery, ceramics, toothpaste, cosmetics, light bulbs, china dishware, paper, rubber, and paint.

It’s a versatile and beneficial clay with various applications!
